Due to ongoing expansion, Alten Ltd is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Bristol within the Aerospace sector. This is a fantastic chance to join a fast-growing company with strong core values of; Excellence, Accountability, Integrity and Service.

Your new role:

As a Manufacturing Engineer you will be one of our consultants performing on one of our major engineering projects in the UK. You will also be contributing to our development and growth within the Aerospace industry.

As a Manufacturing Engineer your main responsibilities will be:
• Ensuring production of composite materials are fully automated and developed .
• Analyse data related to materials and promote manufacturability.
• Managing activities related to costing and resource planning and approval.
• Liaise with different stakeholders to ensure low risk or zero defects of product.

The ideal candidate will possess a passion for Engineering, with a result-oriented and proactive mind-set. The successful candidate will have the chance to work on several exciting projects throughout their career with Alten, developing their engineering knowledge as a Manufacturing Engineer and a consultant.


• Working knowledge of composite materials or composite technology.
• Background of manufacturing processes within a highly regulated environment.
• Experience of implementing Failure Mode & Effects Analysis within an engineering setting.
• Understanding of international aerospace standards is highly desirable.

Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline with demonstrable experience
