Printed Circuit Board Layout Designer (H/F)

Are you a designer that loves to create Printed Circuit Board (PCB) layouts to implement circuit designs using Cadence Allegro? The R&D center of our client, Ottawa is this place, and we have an exciting opportunity for you within radio development in digital and RF hardware design, a fast-paced, highly collaborative technical environment.

Description du poste

• You get to work closely with hardware design team during product development phases to prepare layouts and component placement based on design rules and processes
• You can ensure that all design requirement are met, while meeting project timelines
• You get to research and implement new techniques and technologies to grow the PCB design skill-set, reduce PCB cost, and stay current on industry PCB design practices
• You will work closely with our customer's internal Design for Manufacturing (DFM) team to ensure design is compliant with DFA (Design for Assembly) and DFM practices
• You get to work with a best in class local and global teams in Europe and Asia
• You will generate PCB output files to be sent for Design for Manufacturing (DFM) review and board houses for fabrication

Description du profil

• Experience in layout of complex, multi-layer board using Cadence Allegro PCB design
• At least 5 years’ experience in laying out dense high-speed digital and RF circuits on the same board
• Bachelor’s degrees in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
• The people skills required to work with different teams, along with analyzing and excellent problem solving skills

Compétences

• The strong fundamental knowledge of high-speed digital layout concepts (JESD, DDR3/4, SFP etc) and RF circuit layout concepts
• Working knowledge of Mix Signal layout design
• Background in Constraint Manager in Cadence Allegro PCB Design
• Working knowledge of Power circuit layout
